An Intimate Tarrant County Courthouse Wedding: Marry & Alex's 's Beautiful Day

Tarrant County Courthouse Wedding Photos

There's something truly magical about courthouse weddings. Strip away the large crowds and elaborate decorations, and what remains is the pure, authentic love between two people. That's exactly what I had the honor of capturing for Marry & Alex's during their intimate wedding at the historic Tarrant County Courthouse.

Why a Courthouse Wedding?

Marry & Alex's chose the Tarrant County Courthouse for their wedding because [mention their reason - loved the simplicity, wanted an intimate ceremony, appreciate historic architecture, etc.]. Their day was a beautiful reminder that what truly matters isn't the scale of the celebration, but the depth of the commitment.

The Ceremony: Simple and Meaningful

The ceremony took place in the bright ceremony room. Despite being a quick legal ceremony, the room was filled with so much emotion. You could feel the nervous excitement, the happy tears, and the overwhelming love as they exchanged their vows.

After the ceremony, we took advantage of the courthouse's incredible architecture for their portrait session. The Tarrant County Courthouse offers stunning natural light and timeless backdrops that perfectly complemented the couple's joy. We used the grand staircases, the long hallways with their beautiful arches, and the classic architectural details that make this building so special. The historic setting created an elegant contrast to the couple's modern love story.

We then moved outside to capture portraits with the courthouse's magnificent Romanesque architecture as our backdrop. 5 pm beautiful golden hour glow illuminated the limestone walls and created a magical atmosphere. The courthouse steps and the surrounding Sundance Square area provided the perfect urban yet romantic setting for their newlywed portraits. Marry & Alex's 's joy was contagious, and we captured some incredible moments of them laughing and celebrating their new marriage.

Tips for Your Own Courthouse Wedding

Based on my experience photographing weddings at the Tarrant County Courthouse, here are my top tips for couples considering this route:
1. Schedule strategically: Weekday afternoons tend to be quieter, allowing for more peaceful portraits inside the building

2. Consider the light: The courthouse has beautiful natural light - late afternoon provides a warm glow both inside and out

3. Dress for the occasion: Even for a courthouse wedding, dressing up makes the photos feel special and celebratory

4.
